Travel Fly to Amsterdam Schiphol airport. You may rent a car and drive about 35 kilometres to Huizen, or take a direct train connection every half hour from Schiphol to Naarden-Bussum railway station. From the airport it takes 40 minutes by train to get to Naarden-Bussum where there are taxis available for a 10 minutes drive to Visio in Huizen. You’ll find the taxis if you go down the stairs and up again into the central hall; take the exit at your righthand side. Taxi price about €10. In the area you will find the following hotels: o Hotel Bastion The Bastion hotel is next to a smaller railway station named Bussum-Zuid (only stop-trains). You’ll need a car, a taxi or a bike to go to the congressite or you may walk for 35 minutes. o Hotel Naarden (You will need a car or bike) o Hotel Jan Tabak (Walking distance from Visio) o Hotel de Witte Bergen (Only by car!) Hotel de Witte Bergen is offering is a congress discount of 15%, so mention you are taking part in the conference. Standard room €73,95 and room with a garden €78,20 (single/double same price). Breakfast €9 There is also a campsite: De Fransche Kamp in Bussum It is possible to rent a bicycle to cycle from your hotel to commute to the conference area or to do some shopping in the villages of Bussum or Laren (€9 a day). |
